I felt that my other posters were a bit too garish and the block colours used to fill the shapes weren't really doing me any justice. I am much more refined, at least I like to think of myself in that way! So I subtracted a lot of the shapes and replaced them with just the outlines. I think that design decision was for the best and I am happy with the new compositions. I used Futura Oblique to keep in line with my other self identity/branding work. I wanted there to be consistency across the work and set up a strong visual coherence for my promotion.
